The Trillium Regional Fraternity comprises fraternities within Ontario including Tecumseh, London, Guelph, Woodbridge, Port Elgin, Midland, North Bay, Toronto Area, Keswick, Niagara, Oshawa, Madoc, Kingston.

The ‘Trillium’ was chosen as its symbol because it relates to the official flower for Ontario, is a symbol of the Trinity and is represented in green for the ecology of whom Saint Francis of Assisi is the Patron Saint. The Tau cross superimposed on the Trillium represents the coat of arms of the Franciscan Order, St. Francis crossing arms with Christ, symbolizing his deep relationship with Christ and Christ’s mission for him on earth.

The Patron Saint of the Trillium Regional Fraternity is St. Clare of Assisi, a contemporary of St. Francis whose life modelled the ideals of the Franciscan charism, and she is also the Patron Saint of communications.
